I had a wonderful late buffet lunch at Bambou. Each bite and different flavour was a delightful experience for my tastebuds. I had the chance to meet the owner who walked me through the entire array of buffet options from what is served and when, to how it's made, and the lengths the restaurant takes to make their customers happy. I tried something of everything and it was all good, but the egg rolls that are made in house are Phenomenal!!!
The venue is quite a decent size, with three separate dining areas - great if you wanted to host a semi-private event or even if you just want a little quiet during your meal. The restaurant is family owned and has been around for quite some time: tried and tested to be a true favourite amongst the locals. The beautiful awning out front adds a modern hint to the older aylmer strip, while still somehow keeping with the ambiance of the area. I'm looking forward to going back with a group and ordering some of the specialties! -

Yeah, sorry but I can't come up with one good thing to say about this place.
It's a dump and the food is gross.
It's a buffet at lunch and dinner and it is beyond sad.
I particularly like their dried out May West cakes cut up into four pieces. Classy!
Their takeout may be a bit fresher but I've never ordered from them but seriously, I don't know how they manage to stay in business. -

This probably doesn't even deserve a 1. The vegetarian spring rolls were so greasy I had to use at least 3 paper towels so sop up most of grease before eating them. The pineapple shrimp had no pineapples..just thickened yellow sauce. There was something wrong with the tofu in Buddha's veggies. Would never recommend this place. So disappointed.

It was good and fresh. I only gave it 3 stars as it was my first time and ordered take out. I will review again once I eat in the restaurant and try the buffet.
